I wa proud of that movie. They never get the credit they deserve. I still haven't seen the recent one (Finest Hour??) is it a good one? Might be a Netflix day.

SFC Mark Merino, this movie made me proud also. Finest hours was more of a history story rather than a "Made for Hollywood" movie. It was okay and a very heroing story about an reluctant boatswain mate and don't really want to fill in anymore to screw you out of the story. The Guardian was good but all of us that have done any active time know that stuff doesn't really happen. (In Most Cases). Who the hell is gonna see an E8 jumpin from a chopper?!? Not in my lifetime! Although I give all of our swimmers and hello crews credit for their everyday challenges. BTW, USCG 27 y/ retired from spec ops.
