TDY scheduling is an art, Sir! Don't let anyone fool you. The only one I made a miscalculation on was a range clearance to Luke in April-May. Mountain Home range clearance ended about a week and a half before rifle season opened in Montana. Coincidence? NOT! LOL

Oh I know! I was a SAC FB-111 scheduler for about a year and a half.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - Well then I'm talking to the master! I did pretty well cherry picking but I took the shitty TDYs to get that luxury. I learned that at my first base. You can only get so many good ones if you don't pay your dues!

Not that I'd admit to such things, but the concept of don't piss the scheduler off does come into play when those less than desirable TDYs come up :-)
