Whether you agree or not, Sports has played various roles in our nations history when it comes to peaceful protest and the exercising of those rights while bringing around a conversation most people feel uncomfortable speaking of.
My favorite part of the admonishment are these words: "In front of national and often global audiences, the playing of our national anthem is an opportunity for our Men’s and Women’s National Team players and coaches to reflect upon the liberties and freedom we all appreciate in this country."
Kind of an oxymoron to use such words as an admonishment while praising our liberties and freedom.

I'm done watching sports. No more. And a lot of actors and actresses are about to be banned at my home too.

this is becoming out of hand... it's their right to display disrespect ... In this country... Thats why w have the constitution and the Bill of Rights...
