Teddy Roosevelt Jt. was just like his father. Willing to take risks and live to tell the tale. In an ironic twist. His brother Quentin, who was shot down during WWI, would be re interned next to his brother in the Normandy cemetery right next to him.

He didn't just land on the beach like everyone. Because he was a General he had to petition and fight to be allowed to land with his troops. He was the only General to hit the beach and he went in with the first wave. He led by example!
