I remember following this case over the last year and as CCDW holder, I have asked myself what would I have done in this guy's shoes? Would I have simply taken cover or would I have taken the shot? His action cost him everything he held dear and does that out weigh the good he did?

See I am of the other opinion. Gun on the ground and two idiots fighting over it. Disengage and call the cops. So there were other people around. They saw the same thing. If you are stupid enough to stay and watch Mr. Darwin is calling your name.
