When a mission is a failure the troops are at fault. When a mission is successful, the bosses did a great job. It's shitty, toxic leadership but sometimes how the cards play out.

JSOC tier 1, Direct control for "go no go" comes straight from Joint Chiefs and POTUS, they don't get tasking or fall under area SOTFS or area commanders like CENTCOM,don't even need to talk them.
