Some of my Favorite Friends are Masons and it would be folly to deny the Influence of Masons in the Founding of this Country. Age of Enlightenment, American Revolution, French Revolution. Conspiracy, No! Smart Men, Yes, Most Definitely.

As a long-time Mason, I both enjoy and get very frustrated watching most of the Masonic programs on television. Most honestly try to do a good job of being objective (fundamentalist religious groups and programs excepted), but there is so much misinformation mixed in to most of the programs that it is difficult to get a real picture of the Fraternity without being a member. Even talking to someone who is a member is no guarantee. Most Masons do not know much about their own organization beyond the first three degrees. That's a teaspoonful of knowledge out of an ocean of information and learning potential. What a shame. You want the secrets of the initiations? Go to your public library. Most of it is there if you look for it.

I loved the Interviews with some very wonder, smart, gentlemen that are Masons in this Documentary. I think it gave your Great Organization a Fair Shake and some Good Perspective.

I finally got a chance to watch the video a few minutes ago. It was well done and generally accurate, even by the scripted narration. I know OF all the presenters either from other TV programs or, in two instances, from attending programs they gave at Masonic conferences. I especially respect the non-Masons in the group for their fairness and objectivity. I have known Brent Morris for about 15 years and see him occasionally at the national meeting of one organization we both belong to. He has always been an advocate for presenting the Fraternity for what it is and for demystifying it to the extent reasonable and possible. I don't always agree with him on some things, but I implicitly respect him.
