What is happening in Muskogee these days. Merle Haggard had a thing or two to say about it back in the day:
We don't smoke marijuana in Muskogee
We don't take our trips on LSD
We don't burn our draft cards down on Main Street
We like livin' right, and bein' free
We don't make a party out of lovin'
We like holdin' hands and pitchin' woo
We don't let our hair grow long and shaggy
Like the hippies out in San Francisco do
I'm proud to be an Okie from Muskogee,
A place where even squares can have a ball
We still wave Old Glory down at the courthouse,
And white lightnin's still the biggest thrill of all
Leather boots are still in style for manly footwear
Beads and Roman sandals won't be seen
Football's still the roughest thing on campus
And the kids here still respect the college dean

I would want to see ALL the body cam's Videos' start to Finish...
then sit down with senior officers and go thru and see what really happened and look at what happened across the board interview ALL officers on Scene, before anything would be decided... what is seen and shown here say there is nothing worth getting sprayed for ...

Looks like the appropriate channels are already all over it, that is a positive and a form of accountability because officials will change sop. I don't see what the problem is because everyone is working together. If the comment of 'spinning it' is offensive, it is not like he is placing guns, drugs, & cash on the scene where a shooting occurred, that is your mind playing tricks on you. The place this happened looks like a positive example of how to learn from mistakes in the field and having a community and local government working together.

PO1 John Crafton - If that's legal, I mean the police could hire an actor to do that. I rewatched the clip and the female officer wasn't in line with those that were, however she is a police officer and was advancing with the element. She game verbal command and warning then used the pepper spray. Another clip showed her securing the old lady on the floor. The elderly woman didn't jump in line with the men but encroached the female officer from her area of the kitchen between the sink in the counter, that seemed confrontational. It's not the police job to be UFC. What are the stand your ground laws in that state, does a person(police) have to retreat, many states don't require retreat.

or 'duty to retreat'.. I forgot about this gem I was younger had my first place and a friend asked if i could let two people stay over a week or so. Apparently one was on parole, the local pd rolled up, knocked on the door. I didn't know. His dad or something called in their vehicle/location or something. The police said "get on the ground!" when they entered, what did i do? I got on the ground. Simple really, no problems and they released him shortly after. I didn't let them stay long after that.
