Curious what you're seeing as results. A couple of interesting platforms I've been playing with are Steemit (which is similar but growing like gangbusters) https://steemit.com/@johnchang
..and DoGoodU (much smaller but has potential. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/end-world-we-know-john-chang?trk=mp-reader-card

Steemit is a social media platform where everyone gets paid for creating and curating content. It leverages a robust digital points system, called Steem, that supports real value for digital rewards through market price discovery and liquidity

Thanks for the referrals to Steemit and DoGoodU. I'll check them out. I've only been on Niume a couple months and just started building a following. ReadWave was very successful for building a following with tens of thousands of reads before they shut it down.

CPT Jack Durish - y, that's the risk we take with any of these platforms. Steemit seems to be going strong. The folks behind DoGoodU are a good group. I'll definitely keep you posted, as things develop.

That's honest. There are people who want to be writers and there are people who want to write. I'm not really either. I'm a compulsive storyteller. I grew up with great storytellers and long aspired to be one myself. Sadly, I couldn't practice (outside of lying occasionally) but have been at it a couple of years now. Like any craft, it takes time and practice.

Sgt Steven Thomas I feel the same way too. I contribute this to the fact that I mostly type and there is spell check. Just type and tap to correct. Even right now I will paste this to check spelling lol

There's a lot of books on becoming a writer and workshops, etc. But what I've found overwhelmingly to be the consistent advice from the most successful is that, as Stephen Kings, you must do two two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot.

Spelling, grammar, punctuation, and all that are simply skills that can be learned by rout. The real craft that takes hard work and practice is storytelling.
