‘Citizen Soldier’ Tells Story Of A National Guard Unit’s Hellish Afghan Deployment

I might watch this documentary. I don't normally watch war documentaries, or movies about war, but for this one, I'll have to watch the trailer and decide. For those of you who do watch war movies, and since most of you have been Afghanistan, you might like this one. It's a personal preference.

A new documentary focuses on a National Guard unit’s hellish year-long tour in Afghanistan and its aftermath.
A few years ago, directors David Salzberg and Christian Tureaud were introduced to a young sergeant in the Oklahoma National Guard who had combat footage from his deployment to eastern Afghanistan in 2011. The sergeant, Eran Harrill, explained that he was hoping to make a film, but he didn’t want it to be about him. Instead, he wanted it to be about some of the soldiers who didn’t make it back from that deployment alive.
