UNDERSTATEMENT! This is a vile and undeserved disintegration of the democratic process in America. We do deserve better. I hope we aren't this gullible and truly believe this is not what America (not just one gender or ethnic group) wants. This has to be a bad dream?

Yes mam-ma I agree our govt has become the problem, I unfortunately have to go to the VA ( a little problem with camp lejeune drinking water ) I have also worked as a finacial planner since I got out of the Corp, and I see what they effects of there policies are from that very small slice of what I have to deal with. They bigger the govt the worse it becomes and ours has become a massive giant that is crushing the very freedoms most of us served to protect

Lastly it is just the DMV or VA (both are disgusting) but all forms of our govt have become bloated, i had a post office worker tell me that the reason it took more than 2 weeks to get a letter across town was because my client didn't send it certified, I said a first class stamp doesn't any longer guarantee delivery and she threaten to hang up on me. Only in the govt could and employee get away with treating a client like that (or in a massive bureaucracy)

I know that going into a Reserve unit and trying to change the culture or the full time staff requires Union approval and your water will be poisoned. We are responsible for the society we live in and we must change it. If everyone would accept and break the chain, we would all benefit. That means decreasing bloat, entitlements and prioritizing needs and wants. Politics aside, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but not at the expense of everyone else. No one wants to give up and everyone wants to take from someone else. Why can't we all have a basic level of health care? National security should be a shared responsibility and fundamental consistency about life. Everyone's life is important.

SSG Michael Hartsfield = Really? Consider Richard M Nixon? Warmest Regards, Sandy :)
p.s. I drafted a campaign brochure with the profile of Ticky Dick looking out left and right from the center fold with the completely different things he said and promised to different audiences at different times on either side of his profile. I recall Tricky Dick was just another Republican. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

SPC James Harsh - That is what my psych colleagues would classify as projection. Most analysts see Trump pretty much channeling Tricky Dick Nixon concepts as his role model. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

1LT (Verify To See) - Nixon was at least a Veteran of WWII, and served honorably, Trump has never served anyone or anything but himself. Nixon does not deserve to be compared with Trump.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - I was unaware of Richard Nixon's service in WWII until you mentioned this just now, I can only say I was comparing the campaigns not the men - where Trump comes off poorly in his campaign - and now in his military service record. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

Richard Nixon was born on January 9, 1913, in Yorba Linda, California. He graduated from Duke University School of Law in 1937 and practiced law in La Mirada, California, until the start of World War II. In January 1942 he became an attorney for the Office of Emergency Management in Washington, D.C., and then accepted an appointment as a commissioned line officer in the U.S. Navy on June 15, 1942.
