If your in the service.....you know the rules, justice is different than for civilians. Fair never comes into the equation, break a rule in the book....your guilty and you pay the price. Fair, not part of the deal.

CPO Andy Carrillo, MS
CPL Ed Monroe agreed: 'no fair' for military, as much 'fair' as you can afford for civilians. 2 standards under one Constitution where some are obviously more equal than others (sarc).

I really want to know what he took pictures of. Also what crew member allowed him into a space where classified equipment wasn't secured in some way. Most of the boat is classified in terms of how we operate it or keep her quiet. Top speed, crush depth are all closely guarded it prevents someone from being able to approximate a boats arrival time in any part of the world. This guy got what was coming to him.

There are a lot of Pro & Con`s to this. What I am surprised at is that they did NOT give him 5 years. witch was the penalty when I was the Army. I guess he got only 1 year because he a mitted to doing it. One must have permission to take photos of these things first , before hand . Not after, the fact. He messed up. Now he must pay for it.
