Well if Colin Powell urged her then we are all set and now we can forget about it and move on......Gimme' a break....Stop blaming EVERYONE else regarding your actions.

Rule one of progressivism: Never take responsibility for your own actions. It isn't your fault. It's society's fault. It's his fault. It's her fault. It's never your fault.

I have read a few articles that said that Colin Powell did use a civilian email account for personal and non-classified stuff. Definitely not the same as what she did.

He didn't use a server in his basement either. A yahoo account and an unsecured server in someone's basement is comparing apples to pipe wrenches.

Well all have and it is allowed, so long as it is not the primary means and it's done to accomplish the official business at hand. Still, those email are required by law to be retained if they contain official records. Every single email Clinton sent directing an employee, issuing a policy, etc is an official record.
Gen Powell used a personal email account (not his own server) for some of his business which did result in a classified message incident (according to reports) where someone sent him classified information to this account. Again, something which happens quite often. The incident was reported and dealt with accordingly.
Like you said, not the same thing...
