There was a lot to be ashamed of during the Vietnam War

I can't think of a greater honor for a military person to get than to have a ship named after them. Screw the White House ceremony. If I'd done something heroic and the CoC came to me and said "Greg, MoH or name a ship after you?" I'd take the ship. And to have both, like the good Colonel? Wow.

I am so happy to see this. I've had a few drinks and shared a few tales in years past with Barney, and could not be happier with this Marines Marine good fortune. Great, approachable and funny guy.
