SPC Andrew Griffin This was totally expected. Now, the only question is if we will see charges or disbarment action against Marilyn Mosby. the Baltimore State Attorney who filed the bogus charges for purely political reasons.

We know that something happened to Freddie and the truth is out there. No news here.

While there may not have been any deliberate attempt to hurt Mr Gray, He died in custody because of the lack of common sense in transporting him. Just because some one is taken into custody doesn't relieve LEOs from ensuring they are restrained properly and taken from point A to Point B without serious injury or death.

What really chaps my backside is how the family was still given $6.4 million despite the attorney's office not being able to prove misconduct. Let there be a civil complaint and give them nothing. I guess we can call that black privilege when you are assumed to be the victim without evidence in a court of law. The black mayor, black prosecutor, majority black city counsel, and black federal investigators from the DOJ all let those tax dollars fly. What if a white government would have given that kind of sum to a person who died without any proof of negligence?
Also, I am fairly certain that unless freddie became a rapper, his past trail of convictions was not going to lead him down a path to EVER being worth that amount of money or giving that amount of worth back to society. At least the drama got Mosby on stage at a prince concert and put her husband in the running for the next election for mayor. What a joke.

Pretty sure that the City is going to fork it over because they would lose a civil trail. If it went to court the it wouldnt be the city simply being cleared of misconduct. They would aqlso have to prove that they took adequete steps in the retraints used and the way they trainsported Mr Gray. Since he died the evidence points clearly to the fact they didn't.

SFC(P) (Anonymous) - Agreed, but from what details were released it would be hard to convince a jury that police weren't negligent in transporting Mr Gray. Cities pay out instead of going to court all over the country because of people getting hurt, not only by police but due to flaws in public transportation and errors by employees. About 10 years ago a man with a long history of petty crimes was electricuted at a city trolley stop in San Diego because he fell asleep and the side of the bus shelter somehow had a current in it. City paid out millions.
