To cut a human beings throat because of a fanatical demand is a frightening level of control. The possibilities are as endless as is the violence itself, but to me personally the lethargy of the French public is as equally frightening. If your government seems powerless and reactive then surely the voice of the people is a welcomed resource of sentiment and anger. the only way to fight this issue is to be brutal and bring down the hammer, eventually when your children are lying in the street bloodied and maimed may the demands be heard. You cannot reason with these radicals and you cannot win them over with love, you either fight fire with fire or you become eroded in a war of attrition, they know were you are but you do not know them, they know how to hurt you but you can only stop them when you see them exposed but always too late. The advantage they have is that we play by the rules, by guidelines and in accordance with convention, sadly this is our Achilles heel. How far must you be drug down, how far will your nation be allowed to go before the point of no return has tipped.
