WHAT A MUSLIM MAN JUST TOLD ME HAS ME FURIOUS.

First of all, I want to say thank you to LTC Yinon Weiss, CPT Aaron Kletzing, and (Join to see) for RallyPoint. I'm not comfortable pouring my thoughts and opinions anywhere else on social media. On Facebook, it's all about the baby pictures, bench and squats personal record videos, and sharing a few daring conversation I had with my kids. Hey at least among my military family I can "sometimes" avoid being politically correct. We fight and kick rocks and some of you might be in disagreement with me but I really don't care. With civilians, I care about the intellectual and professional image they assume should be on a Warrior.

ANYWAY:

Some of you may or may not know that I was actually born in the Sudan; a Muslim country and was raised in Egypt. My father is Christian and my mother... well... Hear This First: I gave my life to the Lord and was born again in September, 8 of 2002 in Virginia Beach, VA. My mother reminded just a few days ago of that one time I fasted for 19 days and nights; I was actually aiming for 40. You see my mother was a Muslim and I was praying that she gets to Christ for herself. I did not know God based on the fact that my dad was a Christian, I REALLY experience a personal relationship with Him. Long story short: Never have I tainted Islam but it was how I served my God and showed that vertical love horizontally that won my mother over. She is know a firm believer in Christ, she called the other day just to pray for me. She was a Muslim and the rest of her family (my uncles, aunts, etc.) are still Muslim. I doubt she has anything else except for love towards them.
