I've got a 15 year old paperweight (Dell laptop) taking up space? Perhaps it's time for an experiment? :)

What a fabulous idea - I have an 8 year old Dell paperweight that I was using for gaming until it didn't make sense to upgrade it one last time. Thanks!

PO1 John Miller - Once you go flash drive for an install, you will never go back. It is almost twice as fast as using a DVD. Just have to make sure your bios supports booting from a USB drive.

(Join to see) - I have recycled my old computers for years by putting Linux on them. I would then donate them to various charities or other organizations.

SSgt Mark Lines - I do the same. That's actually the reason I chose that linux project.

I haven't tried it yet - only AntiX and Lubuntu on EEE's. Have you ?

SGT (Join to see) I tried it on a live session on my laptop. I do not know how it would work out on an EEE. It uses XFCE as its default DE.
