If the NSA is behind this, I'm not so sure it's a good thing. Who's to say that they won't install some kind of hidden back door in the devices so that they can "keep tabs" on deployed Marines? Meanwhile evidence of that backdoor gets leaked to terrorists and they hack the Marine's devices...

This is the modern world our children will be more tech savvy than us and when I say is I'm talking about the generation before the millinials so with that being said our army has to adapt to the times... Now I'm not saying that reading a map learning terrain features and thing of that nature because they are in our line of work... But keep them up on the new advances of our military too so they will not be dependent on either way... But yet have a great Balance everything the squad leaders knows so should his or her subordinates train them to take your place with out faultet
