The family has been calling for peace and despite the recent tragedy has likely helped calm local tensions significantly. The President is attempting to support peace and reconciliation in the community. He's doing exactly what a President should be doing.

Exactly what occurred to me. Why wait for a full investigation, shades of Micheal Brown. You understand the cops ability to see a threat, even if the had little or no info on his law breaking past. You do have to wonder why he keeps stoking the flames of racism though.
