One of our first casualties was from heat stroke on an orientation patrol in TUY HOA province RVN,we never did find out if the guy survived but the medics called a dust off when they could not revive him,the Army used to call that weather acclimation,kind of a rough way to get used to the heat wouldn't you say?

After the Brief by the Corpsman upon entering the Persian Gulf I knew one thing. I stayed well Hydrated. Something about the Idea of a Cold Water Enema and Fire Fighting Fans aimed at me while I'm Butt Naked I find very Unappealing.
