Two airmen responsible for saving the lives of fellow service members during a suicide bombing in December in Afghanistan received Bronze Stars with Valor on Friday at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia.
Master Sgt. Aaron B. Frederick and Staff Sgt. Bradley D. Mock, both from the 824th Base Defense Squadron, were honored in a ceremony with the nation's fourth highest military decoration for valor, in addition to each receiving the Air Force Combat Action Medal and the Purple Heart, according to an Air Force release.

Good to see some awards are going out. The leaders of our forces need to know that they have the power and ability to do more stuff like this. It provides gravity to the enlisted ranks and does not devalue the awards of others, because at the end of the day everyone's drinking the same $1-$2 beers at the VFW.
I've seen and been apart of a lot of accounts like this, it's good they are getting a trifle for their sacrifices.
