I don't know what difference it makes at this point and time. I guess it will shut up the jerks who like making mountains out of mole hills. I hope they are satisfied now. I'm sure they'll move on to someone else as soon as they can find someone, and try and ruin their military career.

DD214 are still screwed up?
All of my friends from RVN, if you relied on our separation DDs info, it would appear that we all sat on our thumbs. Upon research and updated USMC records, we all were entitled to from 6 to 10 awards for multiple operational periods, including many PUCs, MUCs and NUCs as well as 2-3 Viet awards and possibly even a ROK award for our service with the ROKMC brigade. I could never be bothered to seek an official updated DD214. After all these years what use is any of it?

Cpl Dennis F., You're correct. What use is any of it now? It's not worth anything except if it's needed at the VA. All of those medals and a dollar might get you a cup of coffee.

SGT (Join to see) - Well despite my filing a claim in the mid 70s, the VA did not get off of their ass and do anything for me until about 6 years ago....so they didn't mean shit there either......don't get me going there! Honestly, does anything but a PH make any difference to the VA? I don't think so.
