had my boss just the other day say that I would have to cover one of his meetings because "He was getting sucked off into another meeting with the VP". I giggled like a school girl, he didn't understand why.

I would have been like... Dude, is that one of those perks of being an executive?

My current pet peeve is to tell someone something and they are looking at a Iphone and they respond with, Right, right. Which if interpreted, means I hear your noise, but am ignoring you.

It is disconcerting to see in virtually any setting all the people who have their electronic device absorbing all of their attention. It is most disconcerting when you view drivers in other vehicles attempting to text or what have you!

LTC (Join to see) - And the saddest part is most enjoyable times I have had with family and friends was before all the electronic devices, when we sat around, shot the bull with a possible adult beverage.

You have to be kidding, no IPhone? My family harassed me for months until I got one. I still prefer my old Windows phone.

I dislike when people come over and start talking to me while I'm on my iPhone. It's like me texting with my wife or kids is not near as important as what the want to talk about. (in this case, it's an iPhone because I have an iPhone)

I disagree with the elephant in the room. The ones I hate are when people use text talk in regular conversation. In the military Acronyms are important, but using BRB instead of Be Right Back is taking it too far. I have also heard someone say in a sentence LOL. Really? We would have heard if you were laughing. You have replaced an emotional response with text speak. No thank you.
