If Ryan is leading the charge, it's just more taxpayer money wasted paying lawyers to do a meaningless investigation. We already know the outcome; it's been fixed from the start.

People want to hear FBI Director James Comey answer the $64 Million Dollar Question:
Why wasn't Hillary Clinton indicted for extreme carelessness & mishandling classified material???

Sgt Tom Cunnally - And I think conservatives need to stop playing games trying to use legal, investigative and other "non-traditional" tactics to block or disqualify the Democratic nominee.
The GOP likely understands extremely well that on the merits, they will lose the election, but guess what, that is their own fault for pushing their platform so far to the right that they have alienated most Americans, and then for nominating an absolutely obnoxious candidate.
All general election candidates get briefings, and all of those candidates sign and comply with non-disclosure. Despite her server (which I understand very well was set up not to willfully leak secrets but rather to block the incredibly invasive GOP smear she has been under for 25 years), I would think that Trump's reckless and childish tweeting fetish is more dangerous to national security than any thought of Clinton mishandling new information while under the intense scrutiny she currently is.

LTC (Join to see) - Among Clinton’s supporters, nearly half said they were backing her because “I don’t want Donald Trump to win.” A further 39 percent said they “agree with her positions,” and about 13 percent said they “like her personally.”

Sgt Tom Cunnally - So what. Not wanting Donald Trump to be President of the United States is the best reason for electing anyone other than Donald Trump.
I would vote for a can of spoiled tuna before I voted for Donald Trump.

I voted "none of the above" in the primary election.
Still undecided but we have a few more weeks to go.

Sgt Tom Cunnally Although I do not expect anything will come of the two planned hearings (House Oversight Committee and House Judiciary Committee), it will be good to get additional information about the rationale used by Director Comey to reach the decision that Clinton should not be indicted for her criminal actions, which were completely laid out in his comments. The required elements of proof were met and, at a minimum, should have been referred to a grand jury for a decision on whether an indictment was warranted.
Contrary to what Obama/Clinton sheeple have stated, "recklessly careless" is the same as "gross negligence" and that is all it takes to prove the offense was committed IAW the statute. There is no requirement to show intent, although her intent was certainly clear to anybody who does not put politics ahead of the rule of law.
