Be proud that you are an American. Voice your complaints and concerns, but remember, you are Americans and our freedom wasn't easily attained. All of us on Rally Point know what it took, and what it takes, to defend our nations freedom. Be proud and salute our flag. Don't worry about those who burn our flag and run our freedom down. They are protected by our founders and freedom of speech.

The United States of America is now called many things by many people, but on July 4, 1776, it was a child of the Enlightenment, when reason joined with faith to change the course of human history. As a physicist and a Christian, I resonate with such a nation and am enormously grateful to call it home.
