What Makes America Different?

I think many if not most American take their freedoms for granted. I remember many years ago when I was stationed in Berlin Germany we would occasionally make shopping trips to East Berlin, the people there were afraid to even being seen talking to you! Also why do you think Bergdahl was glad to get back into US hands? He deserted as an idealist believing America was so bad and then after 4 years of Taliban association he must have realized he would be charged as a deserter, yet life in a US prison is probably still far better than life in some countries!!

It finally came @ the 3:40 mark, the way we are changing to be like others so......The question is "What Made America different" and can we resurrect it going forward. I feel we can if the right decisions are made starting now....
