This lady hits the nail right on the head. I was not married until I was 40, and the difference between being single with someone and actually committed to the other person is night and day. I would not change being married for anything in the world.

Marriage is great think some of the response I think are true. It is a good thing to be committed and build a relationship. There is no commitment in dating

This is spot on. I've just had the opportunity to marry in 2008 after only being in long term relationships. You are working on goals, making your mark in the world, deepening your relationship and supporting each other together. It's hard work, fun, nerve-wracking, hilarious, and comfortable all at once or in bits and pieces.
You are also provided with benefits and obligations of marriage at the state and federal levels that a boy/girlfriend don't have.
