I would have voted for Perot had he not had the meltdown about his family. I was in TX at the time and attended one of his campaign speeches. He was great. Sorry I can't vote for an acknowledged doper, the last one didn't work out well. I want a major change, not a failed candidate from the past. JMHO

Don't the other two sound like they either snorting or drinking something?

CPT Jack Durish - If drugs were the only issue with our nominees, we would be fortunate indeed. Don't know what it is about Johnson, but I don't care for him.

Absolutely. Gary Johnson's candidacy is very different than Ross Perot's. 1. He and his running mate were both two term governors. History tells us that this country does not elect business executives with no exeprience in either government kr running a campaign. 2. Although I admired Adm Stockdale, he was a major liability to the campaign. Bill Weld is also a two term governor who is capable of being commander in chief now. 3. Bush and Clinton werent near as divisive as Trump and Hillary Clinton - the country is looking for an alternative. 4. Remeber- Perot was doing very well in the polls as he actually got news coverage. His numbers plummetted when he withdrew from the race on to jump vack in later. Finally, a vite for Perot was not a waste at all! Perot's main jssue was balancing the budget. Neither Bush nor Clinton focused on this. After the election, the awareness of the issue coupled with 19% of the vote altered Bill Clinton's agenda. Even if Johnson loses, he will certainly send a wakeup call to the two parties who seem to be taking us for granted.

I think that the two major parties have had a wake up call and hit the snooze button. They'll just wait for We the People to vent our spleen and go back to our old habits of doing as we're told. No, I'm more concerned with electing a good candidate such as Johnson or a bad one like Trump. But in no event, allowing Hillary to be elected. If Johnson doesn't stand a chance, I'll vote for Trump and vomit

...I completely understand and respect that. I will make my final decision in November. Since I live in MA, I am not sure Trump has much chance but Johnson...and Weld who was our governor just might.

Well, first of all from what I've heard Perot has been a strong supporter of the military so I don't thing there's anything to regret there. However, we all knew he wasn't going to win nor is Johnson this time around. I'm tempted to also vote for Johnson and not be part of electing any of these clowns to the presidency. But if I vote against the biggest evil instead of a conscience vote for Johnson I may be making a smarter decision.
