Hillary Clinton’s email story continues to get harder and harder to believe

Thank you, thank you, thank you Congressman Trey Gowdy of South Carolina for sticking with the Benghazi Committee and issuing your report. Without your work, we never would have gotten a peek into how Hillary ran things as Secretary of State and her private email server, or why she did not insist and impose on Ambassador Stevens a sufficient Protection force that would have prevented his death.

While the Democrats tried their best to interfere with your good work, and never had the slightest interest in understanding who Hillary Clinton was as a Secretary of State or ensuring that she accept personal responsibility for the death of her Ambassador either because she sent him to a country that had no business hosting a US Ambassador because of the lack of security or because she failed to force him to accept a large security force to work in Libya as a full US ambassador, or because that is what you do when the buck stops with you as the Secretary of State.

The Democrats saw themselves and their role in the Benghazi hearings as not so much searching for the truth, but protecting their presumed candidate for President of the United States by trying to limit the damage that her the Benghazi disaster and her failed foreign policy and dead ambassador in Libya did to her image as an effective (or even competent) Secretary of State.
