Cyber can be a force multiplier without being its own domain/battlespace. Whether or not it needs its own command is an open question, particularly since cyber is poorly defined. But a whole branch? No. I don't think so.

No. Major Commands in each of the Services? Yes... eventually, when we mature. This may eventually lead to the decision to create a separate service, but I don't think we're quite there yet to even consider such a move.

Good Question. Actually they pretty much have always been a Separate Branch, Maybe you could say Separate but Equal. LOL! Within the DOD has been that Oddball the NSA and those of us that worked for Big Daddy wore different uniforms but there was never any doubt who we primarily worked for and answered too. CyberWarfare operates under the Auspices of the NSA Now I'm pretty sure.
