If I were the editor on this report I would have given the reporter a head start for the door with a swift kick in the pants and told him not to return until he explained the timeline in this story. I would be interested in knowing if the legislature enacted the law prior to the incident in Orlando or subsequent to it. That would seem relevant (I'm assuming the governor's veto came subsequently). The two, the legislature and the governor, would be acting under completely different circumstances, wouldn't they?

So here you go you are walking down the street in a not so pleasant part of town and you look the wrong way at someone and the shot you with a concealed weapon EVERYONE (over 19) can carry, their life was in danger because of the color of your skin or what you are wearing.
OR you are walking down the street in your neighborhood and someone who doesn't belong is walking down the sidewalk looks scary to you because they are the wrong color or wearing the wrong clothes.
Who is in there right to shoot who? Or are they both right.
With what article says Missouri will allow EVERYONE over 19 to carry a concealed weapon and shoot someone because they fear for their life.

Are you saying that if you fear for your life, you shouldn't be allowed to defend yourself?

No. I'm saying that **ALLOWING** people to defend themselves did not cause **ANY** of the problems that the anti-gun folk predicted.

PO3 Donald Murphy - I understand that. My question was directed at MSgt Michael Bischoff, as I was wondering what his alternative suggestion should be for somebody who is both in fear for their life, and has the capacity to defend themselves... if he thinks they should not?

LTC Yinon Weiss - I did not say you could not defend yourself I asked which one right or were they both.
With the way can interpret gangs shootings could be justified (some instances) but they will not be able to use that defense because of were they are from. Florida proved it just after Travon incident the women prosecuted for defending herself (charges were dropped) she would be in jail if the media didn't blow it up.

I'm just saying in some parts this law could be very biased.
Gangs may not be a good analogy but I hope you understand the premise.
