the snopes link you posted (I firmly approve of this choice in links by the way) talking about it says right at the top "There's no evidence Elizabeth Warren ever said that if "the Republicans" refused to surrender their guns, "we" would "disarm them ourselves.""
Anyway, when anti- gun folk get extreme and we can't keep talking, I have always said "If you really believe in trying to seize the arms of the people, please come try to do it yourself, don't send someone else's children to do your bidding. Because you and I know what the likely result is."
