It is my personal belief that PC is suppressing free speech, one word at a time. The thorn in my side is that some people can say a word but others can't.

SGT (Join to see) Interesting article... Political correctness is in the eye of the beholder. Unfortunately, liberals/progressives have claimed ownership over deciding what is politically correct or not and, obviously, have deemed anything that does not meet their agenda as not making the cut. Pure BS...

I'll never get used to it or use it. I'd be saying something I don't believe in, COL Jean (John) F. B. .

SGT (Join to see) - I have never been accused of being "politically correct"... something I wear as a badge of honor. I really do not go out of my way to offend people, but I simply say what I think. That is just in my DNA.

COL Jean (John) F. B., I'm a low keyed, honest person. I am very blunt and to the point and that's what I want it. If I told a thief it's ok to steal, don't worry about it. I would going against every grain in my body. I've always said, " if you don't like my answer, don't ask me a question I don't agree with."

It's like that, "you don't agree with me, therefore you are a bigot/racist/misogynist!" line that gets thrown around.
