Excellent bit of history. At Kami Seya we had the messages from the Pueblo incident framed on the bulkhead on watch floor. Not sure where they went when the site closed down.

I spent 7 months assigned to ComSixthFlt as a WWMCCS terminal operator (among other things) for my first assignment. Terminal was tied to the WWMCCS system in London. Later, spent 3 years as system operator & communications control for the WWMCCS systems in DC.
Love to tell the story about how we had online chat before there was "Internet". That's how I heard about the Challenger explosion - the system operator in London asked via chat if I had heard about what happened.
The good 'ol days of mainframe computing!

PO1 David Ewing I Do Believe We May Have Overlapped there a Bit DP1 I worked out of the Basement of the NARDAC Bldg WNY 87-90 provided support to the NMCC in the Pentagon. I got a Strong Suspicion We Probably Know a Few of the Same People. DPC Ann Summers would be the First to Come to Mind.
