Yes that is what is being put into place. Gender neutral standards that are MOS specific. Each MOS has standards and all Soldiers have to meet them. Check out some of my other posts that highlight women MOS/Branch graduating and meeting the same standards.

My issue with the opening on all jobs to women is standards. As long as the standards remain the same and don't change. My fear is that if standards change that a lot more people are going to get hurt in combat.

My other posts have highlighted some women that have graduated from Combat Arms training and met the same standards as the males.

I think there should be specific pt test for mos series. If this is done I think they will be better suited for the job instead of a generic covers all or test.

I am in agreement with the Under Secretary on his decision that combat MOS's be opened to the women to.
