I thank God every day that I live in the USA. We have our problems, but we also have our constitution that protects us from laws like Ethiopia enacted.
Ethiopia's parliament on Tuesday approved a law to imprison people who distribute defamatory speech, pornography and spam online, a move that bloggers and activists said is meant to silence dissent.
The law's most severe penalty is 10 years' imprisonment for sharing pornography online. Sharing defamatory speech or spam gets at least three years in prison.

1stSgt Eugene Harless, Ditto. I remember when they were starving to death and we helped pull them out of that, and they were all thankful and all that. Now,it's diffetent altogether.

Yes, however, if a child wears an American flag t-shirt to school he/she is sent home, suspended or expelled. If a uniformed soldier goes to a high school graduation for a family member that soldier is told to leave. If someone goes to a political rally, especially in CA, they are assaulted by the ruling mob. Oh and attempting to organize into groups can get you an IRS audit too. The lines between the 3rd world and ours are thinning just as the impact of our Constutution is fading away. I'm sorry to be in a negative mood. I am not directing that negativity at you.
