This may have already been addressed but will transgender Service Members be graded by the PT scale of their original sex or do they get to choose?

I really really really hope its the "original gender" they get graded as. Any old guy can come to work one day and say hes a woman and get a 500 on the extended scale.

SGT Bryon Sergent - It is nowhere near as simple as claiming female. You would have to go through an intense and powerful transition. You would have to take female hormones as well as a medication that kills every trace of testosterone in your body. Your endurance would drop drastically as would your strength. Once you've been on hormones for a while, you will be lucky to get as high a score in the female category as you used to in the male category.

I would hope they would be graded by their original sex, not what they "Identify" as.
