CBS New York RIP Medical Debt July 2015

Kim Bolen RN CCM ACM , I have friends and just recently (yesterday) stopped at a mobility store. I also opened a couple of medical bills from last year when a severe infection struck. What the hospitals around me charge is outrageous and the numbers add up to sums with 6 or 7 figures to the left of the decimal point. Obamacare didn't fix the problem, and imho, made it far worse. Who wants to make the decision to eat for a week and keep the electricity on so the equipment works or pay a portion of the bill that will never go away. The small payments most people can make barely touch the interest, never mind the principal.
