I had a Soldier come to me for help last week. She is still breastfeeding her baby, and she is scheduled to leave soon for a two week school. It was quite easy answering all her questions and concerns, since I have had to do that myself (two weeks of whaaan whaaan three times a day). Now that there are Military Breastfeeding and Lactation Support Policies in place, it makes it a lot easier for Breastfeeding Service Members. As a Leader, are you prepared for these questions and concerns? Are you providing the appropriate workplace lactation space?
