Today, I listened to SGT Jones tell me his story of events on September 10, 2015. I was mesmerized as he told his amazing story. This article does not tell all the details (I think there was an Angel involved), but it explains most of it. My sadness is no one put him in for an award. RP members how about some help. What award do you think I should recommend him for? Please give your justification, too. FYI He never got his belt back, so I think it would be a nice to get him a unique belt. Any ideas on that?

I believe the military still has a humanitarian award for what the SGT. did.

I had read of volunteer service awards that svc mbrs can receive though I know little about them, unfortunately. I'd read of the uscg lifesaving medals, which, interestingly, Gen Patton had recvd, I think the silver one, as opposed to the gold. I should certainly think something like whatnhed been involved with might possibly warrant one of the volunteer svc awards for svc mbrs, though, as I said, I'd have no idea which one, obviously .
