Thanks for the info! This is the first board to come out since i promoted to Sgt so maybe im confused... But shouldnt your packet and photo be good to go at this point? Or is this just showing whos eligible so they can get everything ready by selection time?

I would hope you have already checked to make sure you have no FITREP gaps, and all your PME has been completed, current Rifle or pistol qual and PFT/CFL. If you are ANY of listed zones (Above, promotion, below zone) you need to get your photo in.

Ive been a sgt for about 5 months so im good on all that stuff at this point, im pme complete, pft and cft are in the system, no fitrep gaps. Im not even close to consideration, my question is more about the process in general as its all new to me. It would seem your a liitle late to be doing the things you mentioned if the message is already out but im still not 100% on how the whole process of being selected plays out

Thank you for the advice! I got a good class on keeping my mrowup to date and my ompf but it was a little light on the actual selection process. But as long as my mrow stays utd so it could be submitted at any time, my mbs is accurate and my photo is less than a year old i should be good for anything that comes my way correct?

The expectations are definatly different! I am honestly having a little trouble switching from a working supervisor to being a little less hands on and tasking people. I figure its probably bc i enjoy the manual labor, and i can be picky about the way i want things to look. As a cpl i could do the work myself with a few lances and make sure everything was how i wanted it. Its a little more difficult now that i might be supervising 2 or 3 projects at once and trying not to just push everyone out of the way and take over
