House set to weigh in on drafting women

This is simple. There can be no gender discrimination when it come to registering for the Selective Service. All Americans ages 18-25 years old register, Either get rid of registering for the Selective Service or stop the gender discrimination against males ages 18-25.

LTC Thomas Tennant - Colonel; Since there is no "Draft" there isn't going to be much talk about "Drafting Women".

Admittedly there might be some talk about requiring women to REGISTER for the Draft (if there ever is one).

BTW, since the "Draft Registrations" contain the names and location of every male in America over the age of 17 years old, they also constitute a "nominal roll" for the "militia" that the Founding Fathers were talking about when they passed the Second Amendment. Since women are now insisting on (and entitled to) the same rights as men (in particular their Second Amendment rights) then it is only appropriate that they have the same responsibilities as men (in particular their Second Amendment responsibilities).

So? What's the issue? Are women second class citizens who aren't entitled to the same rights as men? Do women constitute a superior class of citizens who aren't subjected to the same responsibilities as men? Or are men and women equally entitled to rights and subject to responsibilities?

I would say that women should be drafted as well, not necessarily for combat positions as many people might think but for support positions as well. They can support in the medical field, financial, human resources just to mention a few. I'm surprised how this hasn't been done yet.
