Some self-seeding flowers.
I have had Sweet Alyssum and Sunflowers self seed, not Hollyhocks though which have done well in years past, but not recently. Maybe it is a good time to strew some seeds around which would be similar to self-seeding . . . and hope to see flowers in spring.

Find some "Black Eye Susans" Rudbeckia, Evening Primrose (onthera) there is a yellow and pink variety the pink does better down in the Deep South, Foxglove ' & Hollyhocks need to be fertilized to reseed, violets, some pansies will reseed also, I prefer perennials and divide them when they get larger.
