Cruz has no chance. No republican presidential candidate will ever stand a chance to win the general election on a evangelical, far right wing ultra-conservative platform. That ideology will never again appeal to the masses in this day and age to win a majority vote. He is looking even more foolish every time he speaks.

Well to be fair to the Tea Party's and other breakaway factions, "religion" and "ideology" aren't the issue. The issue is that the rank and file were elected under the conservative banner and have strayed from their ideals. In other words, they're not conservative enough. Being religious isn't the issue. Its the fact that they're not voting the ticket they were elected under. To the fence sitting (indy) conservative or to the Tea Party conservatives, Cruz and Rubio represent a sell-out.

Not sure I understand what you mean. I just know the BS meter pegs in the red every time Cruz opens his pie hole.

My relatives in Northern Indiana and most of the area are rabid liberals. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the General election.
