Hard for a volunteer force to win with one arm tied behind there back... Political correctness is going to stifle the effect of the force.. Not to mention our political leaders.... sad !

He makes it sound like the US couldn't get enough people to volunteer and that's why we don't win wars. That's nonsense. The size of the military is set by congress. Besides, if it's the all volunteer force that's the reason we didn't get decisive wins, then how does that explain the same results in VN and Korea?

I completely agree sir. His article is majority opinion based vs actually providing facts to validate his argument.

Kind of an odd take on things from a West Pointer that served from 69-92 and attained the rank of Col. The article seemed more like an opinion piece from someone who never served.
