SSG Bethany Viglietta Thanks for bringing this to the attention of the RP Members. This continues to be an issue in the military as well as in the civilian world. I will defintiely being wearing blue jeans on April 27th, 2016 as a show of support. I'm working with a veteran (Male) that was assaulted, so it isn't limited to females or males, it can be both, etc. Thanks for the post and discussion. I think we should broaden the scope by adding more RP Members and connections to your post!

COL Mikel J. Burroughs Thank you for sharing. You are absolutely right it can happen to a male, female, service member, or civilian. No population is immune, but education and support are everything.

Great post, SSG Bethany Viglietta! Thank you for taking the time to bring this to the attention of people like me who were unaware of the origins of Denim Day. I hope the event received the support that it deserved! COL Mikel J. Burroughs, thank you for the shout out, as always, sir!
