Oh good God why? Windows 10 is basically just a huge Spyware OS.

Seriously run NetStat in CMD and look at how much your computer is calling out. Or download Wireshark.

It's insane the amount of information your computer is giving out. Windows 10 should be branded as an OPSEC nightmare.

Telling staff to upgrade to Win 10 on home computers is odd... but it is free. The rub is if you don't know what you're doing, with Win 10, your computer is open to everyone on the Internet, through the Windows Update. Plus there are a lot of other security holes that need plugging...

I hope DOD give guidance....

The other thing to consider is that the free upgrade is only available for a few more months... then it's $110...

what I'm talking about is the issue that the default setting allows YOUR computer to be a source for updates to all other computers on the Interwebs... Not just your network, but the ENTIRE Interwebs... huge problem if you don't close it, and that IS new...

Funny how DoD will be Windows 10 by JAN 17, but ARMY's MEDCOM still does not have a timetable for deployment.
