The point I gain from this article is that the ideal of Afghans to secure their own country and its freedom is much weaker than the ideals of the Taliban an AQAP to capture land in their unjust wars and tortures. We invested too much and allowed them to become dependent and weak rather than independent and strong by finding their resolve. We failed to find a true balance in how to develop their country in a way to stand on its own against terrorism.

Do any of you happen to remember 9/11? I hate to end your liberal suck off party among yourselves about how businesses have ruined this country, but somebody needs to address your bullshit. It was about payback for the 2,605 that died and the people that trained them were trained in Afghanistan. I know this is not professional post, but somebody needs to remind you jerks to show just a little respect.

I remember 9-11. That was when a bunch of Saudi Arabians, Lebanese, and Egyptians financed by a Saudi Arabian guy living in Afghanistan and sheltered by Pakistanis attacked us. The nation of Afghanistan had nothing to do with it.
That's the rationale? DO you know how many terrorists are being trained and live in the US? Does that give Canada or Mexico the right to start bombing the crap out of us and invade? Excuse me... bring us freedom? Why not? Other than just because "we're 'Mericuh!"..

Soldiers were predicting this when I was transiting home from Afghanistan on leave through Kuwait back in early '09. Scary part is I was in Kunduz several times in '12-'13.
