That is a real good source of intel unless he was "TOLD" to defect. That would be a great way to give false intel and at the same time spy on the South. We all know that the North has sies all over the country and a lot of them have infiltrated their liberal party.

This is only the most recent sign. The threats of violence, the mine incident last year, the frequent purges in government (more than Il-Sung and Jong-Il combined), it really isn't hard to tell that the DPRK is falling apart. Jong-Un wants to maintain power for a number of reasons, fear being the biggest, but he lacks the charisma that his predecessors had and external pressure is getting insane.
